School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Speech-Language Pathologists while helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
  • Assist with screenings, data collection, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
  • Maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field (as required by state regulations).
  • Active SLPA license or certification in the state of employment.
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
