School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sheridan, Indiana

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
• Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license (state-specific)
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
• Passion for working with K-12th grade students, supporting diverse communication needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of the lead SLP
• Help assess, track, and document student progress toward speech and language goals
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs and group activities
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support generalization of skills
