In this role, you’ll team up with an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), utilizing your SLPA expertise to foster growth and communication within a diverse caseload. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in the state
- Previous experience or strong interest working with K-12 student populations
- Familiarity with providing direct therapy, maintaining records, and tracking student progress
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet different student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grades under the direct supervision of an onsite SLP
- Document sessions accurately, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
- Support students with varying communication disorders and language needs
- Collaborate with the onsite SLP and other educational professionals for comprehensive student care
- Track caseload progress and participate in team meetings as needed
- Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress
