Qualifications:

  • Holds active and full Speech-Language Pathology Assistant licensure in Maryland

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on support to students with speech and language needs, under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
  • Assist in implementing evidence-based therapy plans, activities, and interventions
  • Monitor student progress, document sessions, and report on outcomes within established timelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, help adjust individual plans as necessary, and communicate observations to supervising SLPs
