Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license required
  • Full school year of prior experience as an SLPA in a school environment
  • Bilingual–must speak and understand Spanish fluently
  • Strong communication skills with students, families, and education teams
  • Experience managing caseloads of approximately 55 students, focusing on mild to moderate needs

Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to meet each student’s communication goals
  • Maintain organized daily documentation for sessions and progress data
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and SLPs to foster student growth
  • Provide bilingual communication for Spanish-speaking students and families
  • Adapt strategies to accommodate a dynamic classroom setting across K-6 grades
  • Monitor student progress and share insights with supervising SLP and educational staff
