You'll work 35 hours per week alongside a supportive team, delivering direct services to young learners and collaborating closely with supervising SLPs. The average SLP caseload is approximately 55, providing a manageable and rewarding work environment. Spanish fluency is essential for this position, as you’ll be serving a diverse student population and ensuring all voices are heard.

Desired Background:

  • Valid California SLPA licensure
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • At least one full school year providing SLPA services in an educational setting
  • Experience supporting students from kindergarten through sixth grade
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience handling a mild to moderate caseload preferred

Key Functions:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to K-6 students
  • Collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and parents
  • Support documentation requirements and IEP implementation
  • Adjust and adapt strategies based on student needs
  • Foster an inclusive, multilingual environment for all learners
