School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Smyrna, Delaware

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
• Valid SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow supervised therapy plans and adapt to instructional feedback
• Organizational skills and compassion for young learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy sessions under the direction of an SLP
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Create or prepare therapy materials as needed
• Support SLPs in assessments or screenings as directed
• Engage with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
