This contract position begins July 31, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, offering a rewarding experience in an engaging school environment.
You’ll work closely with students on a caseload of 25, helping them develop critical communication skills that will serve as the foundation for lifelong learning. Your support will be vital in creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where early intervention and student progress are the top priorities.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with the unique developmental needs of young children
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize and implement therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Assist in screening, assessment, and individualized therapy planning for PreK–1st grade students
- Document student progress and communicate updates with the supervising SLP and educational team
- Prepare age-appropriate therapy materials and activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
