Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK through 1st grade students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This position offers the chance to make a direct impact on young learners while collaborating closely with educators and families. The assignment runs from July 31, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour work week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA licensure (state requirements must be current)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably ages 3-7
  • Understanding of speech and language development in early learners
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 25 students efficiently
  • Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language support to PreK, kindergarten, and 1st grade students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic activities
  • Document student progress and session notes accurately
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute input on student progress
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students within the caseload
