Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting young learners from PreK through first grade. This contract position begins July 31, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, offering a rewarding experience in an engaging school environment.

You’ll work closely with students on a caseload of 25, helping them develop critical communication skills that will serve as the foundation for lifelong learning. Your support will be vital in creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where early intervention and student progress are the top priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Familiarity with the unique developmental needs of young children
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to organize and implement therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
  • Assist in screening, assessment, and individualized therapy planning for PreK–1st grade students
  • Document student progress and communicate updates with the supervising SLP and educational team
  • Prepare age-appropriate therapy materials and activities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
