This in-person role is based at a well-established campus in Shelburne, working 7.5 hours daily, five days a week, from August 21, 2026 through June 14, 2027. This assignment focuses on providing comprehensive speech-language support across a spectrum of student needs, including one-on-one sessions, small group interventions, as well as both push-in and pull-out services. You’ll make a meaningful impact as part of a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid or pending SLP-A certification, or a background in communication sciences
- Experience in a school-based or healthcare setting working with diverse student populations
- Previous SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) experience strongly preferred
- Adaptability to support a full range of student needs, from mild to severe
- Ability to engage both in small groups and individualized instruction
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to high school students with varying communication needs
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Accurately document progress and manage caseload records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Flexibly transition between 1:1 sessions, small group activities, and classroom push-in/pull-out services
