Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility to practice in North Carolina
  • Experience or strong interest in working within educational settings
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective intervention in both group and individual settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting student needs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Implementing prescribed speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Supporting students’ communication needs in the classroom and special education environments
  • Maintaining accurate data collection and progress notes on each student
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel
  • Assisting with the preparation of materials and activities that foster student participation
