School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Spring Lake, NC

Take advantage of an exciting opportunity to make a difference as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant working within a dynamic school environment. This contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, with full-time hours from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027. You’ll have an opportunity to support students across multiple campuses, working with elementary, middle, or high school populations near Spring Lake, NC.

What You’ll Need:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in North Carolina—required
• Experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Flexibility to manage a caseload that covers multiple schools at different grade levels
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs, under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Travel between assigned elementary, middle, and high school sites as scheduled to support student needs
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, other school staff, and families to support communication goals and student success
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
