With a steady Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a vital role in teams dedicated to student progress and communication development. The onsite setting encourages close collaboration with educators and speech-language pathologists, ensuring effective service delivery across diverse student populations from August 13, 2026 through May 27, 2027.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • An active and current North Carolina SLPA license (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or clinical SLPA roles
  • Strong communication, record-keeping, and multitasking skills
  • Adaptability and initiative to serve across various school levels and sites
  • Passion for working with students and helping them meet their communication goals

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Traveling between assigned school sites as needed
  • Assisting with documentation, progress monitoring, and implementing therapy activities
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and educational staff
  • Engaging with parents and administering screenings or group interventions as directed
