Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license/certification for practice in Texas
- Previous experience providing therapy in a school environment preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt therapy techniques for individual student needs
- Organizational skills to manage session data, scheduling, and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plans and assist with developing appropriate materials
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of sessions and outcomes
- Collaborate with educational staff to support classroom integration of communication strategies
- Participate in team meetings, training, and parent conferences as needed
