Step into an engaging school-based setting supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic year. Immerse yourself in two dynamic campuses, splitting your time between a middle school and high school, and make a daily impact on learners' communication abilities.

This contract opportunity begins August 12, 2026, and ends May 27, 2027, providing a steady schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Flexible, part-time arrangements are possible for those available at least three days weekly.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Active and valid SLPA state license
• Direct experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to engage in conversational sign language required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families
• Passion for fostering growth in children and adolescents
• Flexibility to thrive while moving between two campuses

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans and supporting IEP goals
• Work with students at Spillane Middle and Cy Ridge High School to improve speech, language, and communication skills
• Utilize sign language skills to facilitate inclusion and meaningful interactions
• Collect and document student progress, providing timely feedback to the educational team
• Help organize group sessions and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain an organized schedule and adapt to the varied needs of each campus
