Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLPA license or certification, meeting Connecticut state requirements
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a school environment
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and classroom collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech-language programs and activities developed by supervising SLPs
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students in individual and group settings
  • Support student communication goals under supervision
  • Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow best practices in educational therapy
