Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA licensure or certification in California
  • Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of both individual and group therapy techniques for children
  • Ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
  • Proficiency with documentation and progress tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision
  • Support data collection, assessment, and progress monitoring
  • Assist with IEP documentation and goal setting as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to generalize speech and language skills
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
