Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Prior experience in school-based or healthcare settings with K-12 populations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
  • Previous work with behavioral caseloads preferred; comfort in alternative/therapeutic school environments
  • Positive, adaptable communicator who values collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct SLPA support for students on a behavioral caseload
  • Implement and monitor AAC interventions in classroom/therapy settings
  • Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs, classroom teachers, and support staff
  • Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and individualized student plans
