This contract opportunity for the upcoming school year is conveniently located near Sugar Land, TX, and will have you working primarily at one site, with occasional assignments to a second nearby school. Be a vital part of helping middle and high school students thrive, focusing on an average caseload of 80–90 individuals and collaborating with dedicated educators to meet every student’s needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Valid Texas SLPA license and credentials
  • Experience working with secondary-age students (middle and/or high school preferred)
  • Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is a strong plus
  • Successful fingerprinting and background check (state requirements)
  • Adaptable to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), with possible part-time (30+ hours/week) availability
  • Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality
  • Candidates must disclose prior work experience with the district and any previous terminations from a school district, as this will impact hire eligibility

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Provide support to students with diverse needs in group and individual settings
  • Assist with therapy documentation, data collection, and communication with interdisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to the implementation of AAC technology within therapy sessions
  • Travel locally if assigned to more than one campus
