Qualifications:

  • Completion of an associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLPA license
  • Experience supporting students in a school environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and contributing to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy sessions for K-12 students
  • Support individualized education plans and document student progress
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other therapeutic professionals
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed
