As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you’ll bring compassion, skill, and positivity, working hand-in-hand with Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver high-quality interventions for students with diverse communication needs.
What you’ll bring:
- Associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid California SLPA license
- Experience working in schools is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Team-focused mindset and a drive to help students succeed
Key responsibilities:
- Work under the guidance of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Support data collection and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders
- Assist with preparation of therapy materials and documentation of student performance
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and support for each student
