This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide speech-language pathology assistance in a dynamic school setting. Serving two elementary schools and one middle school, this role requires dedication and expertise to support students' communication development. The position is full-time, in-person, and based in Sunnyvale, CA, with an immediate start and commitment through the full school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assistance services to students across two elementary schools and one middle school
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and educators to implement individualized plans
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed documentation
- Support communication goals tailored to each student's needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), preferably in school settings
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Availability to work approximately 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday
