Step into an impactful role supporting the communication development of students at two elementary schools and one middle school. In this full-time, in-person contract opportunity, you will work closely with a dynamic team to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services across three school sites—three days a week at one site, and one day each at the others. Your expertise will be valued as you help empower students with the skills they need to succeed in their academic and social lives.

This position starts as soon as possible and extends through the full school year, offering consistent hours (approximately 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM) in a collaborative environment that values your contributions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current California SLPA license or credential required
  • Experience providing SLPA services in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of speech-language development in children and adolescents
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing caseloads across multiple campuses
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Compassion and commitment to supporting student growth and communication needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support screening, assessment, and documentation procedures
  • Adapt activities and strategies to meet the individual goals of diverse students
  • Utilize engaging materials that foster communication skills in various settings
  • Travel between assigned schools as scheduled
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes
