A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support students across two elementary schools and one middle school in a K-12 educational setting located in Sunnyvale, CA. This in-person contract role is scheduled for the entire school year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working directly with school-aged children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students’ communication needs in individual and group settings
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for speech-language goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress effectively
Schedule & Duration:
- Full-time, in person position with hours approximately 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM
- Services provided across three schools: 3 days per week at one elementary school and 1 day per week at each of the other two schools
- Immediate start preferred, continuing through the full school year
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, preferably in school settings
- Ability to work well with children from diverse backgrounds in K-12 environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and reliability for the specified weekly schedule
