Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build rapport with students
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech & language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with conducting screenings, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate student records
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Attend team meetings and ongoing training sessions as needed
