Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. This position is ideal for compassionate professionals ready to make a difference by helping students achieve their communication goals. Serving a single school site near Tacoma, WA, you'll have the chance to build strong connections with your students as you work closely with a manageable caseload of 30. Guidance and collaboration are always within reach—your supervision will be provided virtually by an experienced SLP.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in Washington State
  • Previous school-based experience as an SLPA preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling
  • Comfortable aligning with a virtual SLP supervisor for support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs, under remote supervision
  • Collect accurate data and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
  • Assist in the creation and adaptation of therapy materials as needed
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and the virtual SLP supervisor to ensure cohesive support for students
  • Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in all interactions
