Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. Serving a single school site near Tacoma, WA, you'll have the chance to build strong connections with your students as you work closely with a manageable caseload of 30. Guidance and collaboration are always within reach—your supervision will be provided virtually by an experienced SLP.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license in Washington State
- Previous school-based experience as an SLPA preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling
- Comfortable aligning with a virtual SLP supervisor for support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs, under remote supervision
- Collect accurate data and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
- Assist in the creation and adaptation of therapy materials as needed
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and the virtual SLP supervisor to ensure cohesive support for students
- Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in all interactions
