Passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are sought for contract opportunities supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Active or eligible for Washington SLPA licensure
- Completion of OSPI fingerprinting (or willingness to fulfill this requirement prior to start)
- Prior experience working in educational settings is valuable
- Middle school experience preferred for the middle school-focused role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students under the guidance and supervision of a virtual SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of session activities
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional learning
