Work closely with certified SLPs and educational staff, contributing to a supportive and engaging learning experience for every child.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid, current SLPA license or certification.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students, implementing targeted speech and language intervention activities as directed by supervising SLPs.
  • Support classroom integration of speech and language goals.
  • Collect data and maintain thorough documentation on students’ progress.
  • Prepare materials, assist with assessments, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when required.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to encourage a positive educational experience for students.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed.
