Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting K–4th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting near Taunton, MA and Attleboro, MA. This full-time role is designed for someone passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners, working alongside experienced speech-language pathologists in a collaborative and enriching environment.

As an SLPA in this setting, you’ll:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold active SLPA certification or licensure (required for school-based practice)
  • Previous experience in a school environment or working with children preferred
  • Solid understanding of age-appropriate speech, language, and communication interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under the supervision of an SLP

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in K–4th grades as outlined in IEPs under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist
  • Support in facilitating small group or one-on-one sessions to address speech and language goals
  • Document student progress and session outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and adapt materials that support individualized learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster student success
  • Attend team meetings, follow school policies, and maintain ethical standards

Position Details:

  • Contract position, starting as soon as possible through June 4, 2027
  • Full time: 32.5 hours per week
  • On-site assignment at a K–4th grade school
