Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Soliant is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support the implementation of speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLPA will work with individuals to help improve communication skills by carrying out treatment plans, documenting progress, and assisting with therapy activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Provide individual and small-group speech and language intervention.
- Document student/client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare therapy materials and support daily treatment activities.
- Collaborate with therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Current SLPA licensure/certification as required by the state.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
