Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license in Washington or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
  • Understanding of speech-language therapy principles and techniques
  • Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy activities and materials as needed
  • Dependable, adaptable, and eager to work collaboratively in a team setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement speech and language therapy plans designed by a supervising SLP
  • Assist with documentation and data collection to monitor student progress
  • Work one-on-one and in group sessions, delivering interventions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain a welcoming therapeutic environment
  • Communicate student progress to supervising clinicians and educational teams
  • Attend meetings and trainings pertinent to professional development and compliance
