Make a direct impact supporting student communication and growth in a rewarding, full-time contract role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Work alongside experienced professionals and help students achieve their speech and language goals in a supportive educational setting. Your skills will be highly valued as you provide targeted support to small groups and individual preschoolers, contributing to their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a California SLPA
  • Previous experience in school and/or healthcare-based speech-language pathology services
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Comfortable working with preschool and young children in individual and group settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language support to groups of 2-4 students (20–30 minute sessions)
  • Deliver individualized therapy for preschool-aged children and select students requiring 1:1 attention
  • Collaborate with supervising SLP and education staff to implement IEPs and achieve therapy goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate session records
  • Foster a nurturing, encouraging environment for all students
  • Engage in both extended school year (ESY) and next school year (NSY) program delivery

This is a full-time (8 a.m.–3 p.m.) contract position beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 6, 2025. You’ll be working closely with school teams who value your expertise and dedication.
