Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) near Universal City, TX for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract position runs from August 10 through May 28, offering you the chance to make a real impact across a vibrant school community.

You’ll work 37.5 hours each week, assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy and intervention to students with a variety of communication needs. Bring your knowledge and enthusiasm as you collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to help students reach their potential.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent required
  • Active SLPA license in Texas
  • Experience working in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Open to Monolingual (bilingual a plus, but not necessary)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication competence
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support student growth

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of IEP goals under a licensed SLP’s direction
  • Deliver speech therapy activities to individual students and small groups
  • Collect and maintain accurate documentation and session notes
  • Communicate with families, teachers, and therapy teams about student progress
  • Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse learning needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
