Speech Therapy Assistant in Usaf Academy, CO

What you'll need to bring:

• Valid SLPA license for Colorado
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with PreK-12 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and implement treatment plans effectively
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Administering assessments to help determine students’ needs
• Contributing as a valued member at IEP meetings and documenting progress
• Collaborating with educators, families, and supervising SLPs to ensure consistent support
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting a positive learning environment
