Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Vail, AZ

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and other school staff
• Comfort supporting diverse student populations, including middle school

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support students in achieving their IEP goals related to communication and language development
• Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans and adjusting activities as needed
• Collect and record data on student progress for ongoing evaluation
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources
• Engage regularly with teachers and education teams to ensure students' needs are being met
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning as needed
