Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP goals and progress monitoring practices
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for students
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to adapt in dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct therapy services to students based on outlined goals
- Track and document student progress and provide input for program adjustments
- Prepare materials, resources, and activities for therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings, contributing observations and insights
- Communicate with teachers and staff to support integrated student care
