Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Venus, TX

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP goals and progress monitoring practices
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for students
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to adapt in dynamic school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Provide direct therapy services to students based on outlined goals
• Track and document student progress and provide input for program adjustments
• Prepare materials, resources, and activities for therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings, contributing observations and insights
• Communicate with teachers and staff to support integrated student care
