School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Vernonia, Oregon

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) through a dynamic and collaborative school-based role. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on teamwork and enjoys working with children from kindergarten through 8th grade. You'll play a key part in helping students strengthen their communication skills across two welcoming sites, both within close proximity for an easy transition throughout the school week.

What you'll bring:

• Valid SLPA license or certification in the state
• Experience (or strong interest) in working with K–8th grade students
• Familiarity with implementing therapy plans designed by a supervising SLP
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to commute between two nearby school sites
• A positive, team-oriented approach and passion for helping students succeed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services under SLP supervision, following established therapy plans
• Support individual students and small groups with expressive and receptive language needs
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Travel between two campuses during the workweek (short and manageable distance)
• Help create a fun, supportive, and motivating therapy environment
