Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field
  • Valid SLPA licensure or eligibility in the state
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, families, and other educational staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, delivering targeted interventions outlined in IEPs
  • Support students both individually and in small groups to improve communication skills
  • Collect and report data to monitor progress and inform IEP meetings
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist in the maintenance of therapy records
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
