Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
  • Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
  • Passion for advocating for students’ success and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups under the supervision of a certified SLP (for SLPA candidates)
  • Support implementation of IEP goals, offering targeted interventions and resources
  • Document progress, maintain accurate session notes, and collaborate on IEP documentation
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student development
  • Assist in screenings, assessments, and the creation of learning materials as needed
  • Attend meetings and contribute insights for student support and planning
