Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly desired
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development in school-aged children
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, organized, and adaptable to the evolving needs of students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as established by the treatment plan under SLP supervision
  • Support SLP in assessing student progress and documenting outcomes
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and families to foster student growth and success
  • Prepare and adapt instructional materials to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of therapy sessions and student development
