Qualifications & Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in school-aged children
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable to the evolving needs of students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as established by the treatment plan under SLP supervision
- Support SLP in assessing student progress and documenting outcomes
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to foster student growth and success
- Prepare and adapt instructional materials to meet individual student needs
- Maintain clear, accurate records of therapy sessions and student development
