Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
- Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Passion for advocating for students’ success and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups under the supervision of a certified SLP (for SLPA candidates)
- Support implementation of IEP goals, offering targeted interventions and resources
- Document progress, maintain accurate session notes, and collaborate on IEP documentation
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student development
- Assist in screenings, assessments, and the creation of learning materials as needed
- Attend meetings and contribute insights for student support and planning
