Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Whittier, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license for the state of California
• Prior experience working as an SLPA in a school setting required
• Understanding of IEP documentation, process, and team collaboration

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques for school-age children

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language services to students as outlined by their IEPs
• Support supervising SLP in assessments, therapy planning, and classroom strategies
• Record and maintain accurate data and progress notes for assigned caseloads
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to generalize communication goals across school activities
• Assist with the creation of therapy materials and implementation of group activities
• Communicate with families under supervision to support carryover of skills
