Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive elementary school team in Willis, TX. This full-time position is based on a single elementary campus, providing the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families while supporting the delivery of high-quality speech-language services.


Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist with speech-language screenings and support the evaluation process as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Collect and document student performance data during therapy sessions.
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Assist the supervising SLP with implementing IEP goals and recommendations.
  • Participate in ARD meetings as appropriate under the direction of the supervising SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Current Texas SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
