Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive elementary school team in Willis, TX. This full-time position is based on a single elementary campus, providing the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families while supporting the delivery of high-quality speech-language services.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist with speech-language screenings and support the evaluation process as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Collect and document student performance data during therapy sessions.
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Assist the supervising SLP with implementing IEP goals and recommendations.
- Participate in ARD meetings as appropriate under the direction of the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current Texas SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
