Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this contract position, you'll work closely with a dedicated school team to provide essential speech and language services to children in a primary school environment. What We're Looking For:
- Active SLP or SLPA license issued by the state of South Carolina
- Current SLP educator certification in South Carolina
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Solid understanding of speech and language development in early childhood
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable managing a diverse elementary (K-5) caseload
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5 students, fulfilling IEP goals and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required by the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education program plans
- Develop engaging, evidence-based activities tailored to students’ needs
- Adapt intervention strategies and monitor student progress
