Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this contract position, you'll work closely with a dedicated school team to provide essential speech and language services to children in a primary school environment. This opportunity offers you the flexibility of 20-25 hours per week while making a positive difference in a close-knit educational community.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active SLP or SLPA license issued by the state of South Carolina
  • Current SLP educator certification in South Carolina
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of speech and language development in early childhood
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable managing a diverse elementary (K-5) caseload

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5 students, fulfilling IEP goals and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required by the district
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education program plans
  • Develop engaging, evidence-based activities tailored to students’ needs
  • Adapt intervention strategies and monitor student progress
