Step into a dynamic role supporting the communication needs of preschool and elementary-aged children in a collaborative school setting near Wilmington, DE. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll have opportunities to choose either full-time or part-time hours to best fit your lifestyle, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Your clinical skills will help students reach their potential while making a measurable difference in their educational experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active Delaware SLPA license required
  • Relevant experience in school-based or healthcare settings as an SLPA
  • A passion for working with younger children, from preschool through elementary
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and school staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct therapy and support to students under the supervision of an SLP
  • Assisting with screenings, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborating with teachers and special education teams to integrate therapy into daily activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to student progress reports
  • Participating in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
  • Helping create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for children
