Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
- Training or experience within a school setting strongly preferred
- Previous experience as an SLPA is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and school specialists
- Current eligibility to work as an SLPA in Virginia (Note: Specific VA SLPA license not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assist in implementing therapy plans designed by Speech-Language Pathologists
- Track student progress and gather data to inform ongoing treatment
- Work closely with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere across multiple school sites
