This contract, full-time opportunity serves a diverse K-12 caseload, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in children's communication and learning journeys.

You will collaborate closely with an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting tailored therapy plans and delivering direct services to a vibrant student population. This is an exciting role for a dedicated SLPA ready to gain valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active, state-recognized SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous SLPA experience in a school setting is desirable, but not required
  • Solid understanding of speech and language developmental milestones
  • Strong organization and time management skills to handle a full caseload
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to document services and maintain accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students following individualized plans devised by the supervising SLP
  • Collaborate daily with the SLP to adapt strategies and monitor student progress
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of all therapy sessions and student developments
  • Support the evaluation process through observations and data collection, as directed by the SLP
  • Engage with teachers and families to help maximize student outcomes and generalize skills in the classroom and at home
