Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Virginia
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with elementary and/or middle school populations
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and under the supervision of an SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities and treatment plans as directed by supervising SLP
- Assist in conducting screenings and informal assessments
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other school personnel to support IEP goals
- Engage families and caregivers to ensure generalization of communication skills
- Contribute to team meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions as requested
