Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
  • Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, teachers, parents, and students
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to helping children succeed

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support students individually or in small groups according to prescribed therapy plans
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with staff members and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Monitor and track student progress towards therapy goals
  • Help maintain organized and confidential records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Adapt therapeutic activities creatively to fit the unique needs of each student
  • Perform other supportive duties as directed by the supervising SLP
