This contract opportunity places you onsite where you'll help students build communication skills, working closely with licensed SLPs who guide and mentor your professional development every step of the way.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field, or an AAS from an SLPA program
  • Active, state-recognized SLPA license/certification
  • Strong skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication, especially during challenging or crisis moments
  • Experience delivering services to school-aged children is preferred
  • Flexibility to travel between school sites during the school day as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate daily with supervising SLPs and other school staff for coordinated, student-centered care
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques and activities designed to promote students’ communication skills
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Serve as a positive resource for students, staff, and families, helping navigate communication challenges in a supportive way
