Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide services for students in a school-based setting. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with students ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade at one school site, supporting speech and language development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Caseload & Assignment Details
- Pre-K through 8th-grade students
- One school site
- Caseload to be determined
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must possess the following:
- Active Arizona SLPA License
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the assignment
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs as directed by a supervising SLP
- Provide individual and small-group therapy services
- Support students in achieving communication goals
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Follow all district, state, and federal guidelines related to special education services
