What You’ll Bring:

  • Active LCSW license and credential (preferred candidates will already be credentialed)
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required
  • Current registration on the PAVE portal, essential for participation in school mental health programs
  • Experience working as a social worker in K-12 schools or similar youth-focused environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and fellow support staff
  • Empathy, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive support strategies
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed, confidential records in line with school and district standards
  • Offer crisis intervention when needed, helping students navigate immediate challenges
  • Stay current on best practices and legal requirements for school-based social work
  • Support the overall mental health and social-emotional program at the school
