School-Based Social Worker - Adrian, Michigan

This full-time opportunity puts you side by side with two other dedicated Social Workers, serving both a high school and an elementary school in the area. Your expertise will be essential in helping students navigate challenges, supporting families, and promoting a healthy, productive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively across various age groups in K-12
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) or behavioral interventions a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support to students individually and in groups
• Implement and monitor intervention plans to address student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
• Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Support school-wide initiatives fostering student well-being
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate goals for students
