Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-age students is highly preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes, social-emotional learning frameworks, and MTSS/RTI
• Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
• Flexibility to support students and staff at both a main site and district-wide as needed
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering direct counseling services to students individually and in group settings
• Supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health initiatives
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEPs and 504 planning
• Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Developing and implementing intervention strategies tailored to students’ unique circumstances
• Facilitating crisis intervention, risk assessments, and referrals to outside resources when appropriate
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to state and district protocols
