In this role, you will provide critical mental health support, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students.
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs.
Assess student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Serve as a liaison between students, families, and school personnel.
Requirements:
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
Valid Michigan 310 School Social Worker Certification (or preliminary approval via Form SSW-310) is required.
Active state license (LMSW or LLMSW).
Previous school-based experience is preferred.
