A full-time position is available for a licensed Social Worker to provide school-based support beginning in March through the end of the academic year. This contract role involves coverage for two maternity leaves within a public school setting located in Ann Arbor, MI. The opportunity requires flexibility to serve both middle school and high school students, ensuring continuous support for their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to students in middle and high school settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • Facilitate connections to community resources and support services
  • Maintain confidential records and comply with district policies and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience working as a social worker in educational settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and school-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work within a multidisciplinary team
